Zambia National Leader, Others Injured in Weekend Crash

 In Global Strategy

Bob Edwards received a message over the weekend from Oscar Ndao Jr. (son of Mailesi Ndao— national leader of the Church of God in Zambia—and Oscar Ndao) that his parents were in an automobile accident. Also in the vehicle were national leaders Maxwell Tembo, and Wilson Mwanza and his wife Arnette. Brothers and sisters around the world are praising God that there was no loss of life as a result of the crash.

Mailesi and Oscar sustained head injuries and broken collar bones, but these are not life-threatening. In addition, Sister Arnette sustained chest pain, but without broken bones. Both Rev. Wilson and Rev. Maxwell were unhurt in the ordeal. At last report, the Ndaos and Sister Arnette stayed a night at the hospital for observation, and were in stable condition.

Bob Edwards, director of the Global Ministry Group for Church of God Ministries, said, “The roads in most Third World nations are treacherous, but especially so throughout Africa. Let us thank God that no life was lost, and pray for the healing of those involved in this accident.”
