Warner Pacific President Cook Named to CCCU Board of Directors
Dr. Andrea P. Cook, President of Warner Pacific College, has been named to the Board of Directors of the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities (CCCU).
The CCCU is a higher education association of 170 intentionally Christ-centered institutions around the world. The 118 member campuses in North America are all fully-accredited, comprehensive colleges and universities with curricula rooted in the arts and sciences. In addition, 54 affiliate campuses from 19 countries are part of the CCCU. The Council’s mission is to advance the cause of Christ-centered higher education and to help institutions transform lives by faithfully relating scholarship and service to biblical truth.
“I believe that Christian higher education should prepare students to lead in a challenging world where there are not always easy answers to be found,” said Dr. Cook. “The CCCU embraces the call to walk with students through their formal education, helping them recognize the permeation of faith across the disciplines and co-curricular life.”
Founded in 1937 in Spokane, Washington, as Pacific Bible College, Warner Pacific is a Christ-centered, urban, liberal arts college dedicated to providing students from diverse backgrounds an education that prepares them to engage actively in a constantly changing world.
