Visit the Reception of Your Choice

On Saturday, June 22, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM, regional representatives from the five regions around the world served by Global Missions will host regional receptions. This is your chance to meet national leaders and other guests who are in Anderson for the Global Gathering.

“It really is an informal time to meet the international leaders and the missionaries that are working with them throughout Africa,” says Ben Schular, regional coordinator for Africa, of their plans. “People will have the opportunity to mingle and get to know each other.”

In addition to meeting the national leaders, Don Armstrong, Asia–Pacific regional coordinator, shares that there will be snack food along with chai tea and coffee available for guests. “Everyone is welcome,” Don shares. “There will be a brief program of introductions and recognition of the country leaders followed by a time for everyone to visit.”

A unique event that is happening at the Latin American regional reception is the launch of a new book, La Vida del Discípulo, by Bill Konstantopoulos. This is the latest book published by Editorial La Trompeta. A review from H. Gerald Rudd recently shared, “Within these pages you will find the heart of a man who has given himself to the work of the kingdom! The reader will learn the why as well as the how of making disciples.”

Regional receptions are open to everyone attending the Global Gathering. There is no charge to attend. The following is a list of reception locations:

•    Europe–Middle East, Park Place Church (Covenant Room)
