Uninterrupted Discipleship: Warner Press Offers Free Children’s Resources

In All Church of God, CHOG

By Eric King

With churches suspending on-site worship and other gatherings such as Sunday school and Bible studies due to COVID-19, many people have been left without opportunities to go deeper in God’s Word.

We’re making available several weeks’ worth of Pathways, our devotional magazine, and a page from our activity bulletin for kids. We are making these available to you in the hopes that they will be useful resources until your church is once again gathering in person. We encourage you to share these with your family, friends, and church members who would enjoy and benefit from daily readings and thoughts from the Bible.

In the midst of these current events, let’s remember that COVID-19 did not catch God by surprise. Not only does he see our hearts, but he also understands them as one who has walked in our shoes. Jesus experienced the emotions of worry, anxiety, and fear—and when he was getting ready to experience the greatest trial of his life, he reminded his disciples, “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world” (John 16:33). So, let us place our worries at his feet (1 Peter 5:7) and center our hearts on the reality of his eternal love and sovereignty.
