In All Church of God, Global Strategy, Missionary Announcements

Edwards-Nathan

Global Missions of Church of God Ministries has appointed Nathan Edwards to serve as a Special Assignment Missionary (SAM) to Kenya for two years. He will serve as a counselor for students at Rift Valley Academy. He will also serve the Church of God in the area of member care of missionary kids (MKs) in Africa. He was appointed June 19th, 2012 and hopes to begin service in November, 2012.

Nathan himself is a missionary kid, the son of missionaries, Bob and Jan Edwards. He was born in Kenya and raised in both Kenya and Germany before coming to the US for university and graduate school. He graduated Anderson University, received a certificate in Theological Studies at Providence Seminary in Canada, and received his Master of Arts in Counseling at Colorado Christian University. Nathan has developed a passion and a calling for working with missionaries and their families in the field of mental health because of his various struggles in navigating the transitions from culture to culture. Nathan’s experience and gifts will be beneficial to those whom he will serve.

If you would like to support Nathan Edwards, please contact Debbie Taylor, Living Link Administrator, at dtaylor@chog.org or 800- 848-2464, ext. 2129.
