Who Is Global Strategy?
Our mission and our calling as an organization is to partner with God’s work on the ground through the local church.
We Make the Path
The global church is growing rapidly, setting the pace, treading new ground. And we get to match their stride, step by step.

When disasters strike, the global Church of God is quick to respond as the compassionate hands and feet of Jesus. Moreover, unlike many relief agencies that depart after a few weeks, the local church remains at the heart of the community, walking alongside those who are hurting for the long road to recovery and restoration.

a story of impact:
The Church of God in Chile
In February 2024, wildfires ravaged the nation of Chile. Over 29,000 homes were destroyed, more than 40,000 people were affected, and hundreds of lives were lost. In the immediate aftermath, the local Chilean Church of God, led by Pastors Carlos Barlow and Marisol Cortes, mobilized to serve the community around them.
Pastor Carlos shares: “Our congregation has the clear vision of showing mercy, and we are sensitive to the pain of people. Every time we have the opportunity, we come to the aid of those who need it.”

Starting with just $20, they watched as God multiplied their efforts, much like the miracle of the loaves and fishes. The church became a collection and distribution center for emergency relief items—clothes, hygiene supplies, school materials, and New Testaments. They prepared meals for those displaced by the fires and created special packages for children who lost everything in the flames.
Church of God Ministries Disaster Relief was soon invited to join and sent $3,000 to further empower these life-sustaining ministries. Over the next six months, these relief funds were used creatively and faithfully. “We began to buy yarn and give it to the older sisters or those who knit and who do not have as much mobility to go to the field,” Pastor Carlos explains. “They knitted blankets that we have already been delivering in this wintertime.”
The Chilean Church of God continues to walk with families who lost their homes, hosting events and building relationships in the affected community. They also initiated a Restoration Project partnership with Global Strategy to help vulnerable households with specific, outstanding rebuilding needs. The current goal is to restore electrical lighting in four homes and replace roofs for ten others. Beyond the physical rebuilding, the church remains a healing presence in the community.
As Isaiah 61 prophesies, “The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted… to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.” Praise God for how this prophecy is being fulfilled through the Body of Christ in Chile in 2024!

The Church of God in Zimbabwe
What began as a swift Disaster Relief response to a devastating cholera outbreak in early 2024 has blossomed into a powerful project partnership with Global Strategy, bringing hope and healing to communities in need. Through the installation of 40 latrines and 5 borehole wells, this project is combating waterborne diseases and touching lives far beyond the church walls. When a displaced community faced the heartbreaking possibility of losing their school due to failing sanitation, this project stepped in—restoring dignity, ensuring children didn’t have to walk miles for their education, and keeping their dreams alive. Hope is being restored, lives are being transformed, and new futures are being made possible.

“Our program covers a variety of topics related to the Gospel and has been receiving a great response. There has been a notable increase in the number of non-Christians interested in direct contact. People of all ages share their opinions in the comment section, and some listeners have requested information and commentary programs on specific topics. Additionally, people have expressed interest in obtaining the Holy Bible.

This growing interest is seen as a testament to the movement of the Holy Spirit. Some Muslim women have requested information on the rights and duties of women in the Holy Bible and the place of women in Christianity. Many people have also submitted their prayer requests with great faith, and some have experienced miracles in the name of Christ.
Chashma Hayat is proving to be a divine platform through which the good news is reaching Urdu speakers. The majority of Muslims are very interested in the Psalms of David, as their core religious texts include the Torah, the Psalms, and the Bible. Therefore, a large number of non-Christians are drawn to the various themes of the Old and New Testaments, and many are being moved to accept Jesus Christ as their Savior.”

The forum for conversation and collaboration across the Church of God worldwide.
After its formal launch in Tampa 2023, the Global Alliance established an 18-member Executive Committee, with representatives from each of six global regions of the Church of God, along with officers dedicated to taking the Alliance into the future:
Lennox Boyce
Chair
Barbados
Cyril Pilay
Vice Chair
South Africa
Andrew Gale
Secretary Chair
United States
The Alliance has already birthed collaborative exploration of new strategies and ministry sites around the world, in nations in which there is not now an organized Church of God witness. They are set to be an ongoing table at which the entire Movement can pray, partner, and listen to the Spirit together, and Church of God Ministries is so privileged to provide administrative support for this anointed work.
