Leadership Summit 2013: Leadership Redefined
This summer, Leadership Summit will take place on the campus of Mid-America Christian University in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. At Summit, emerging leaders from around the country who are being called to vocational ministry, missions, and leadership in the Church of God will have a life-changing opportunity to grow in their faith and understanding of the call of God on their lives. We believe that God is preparing these emerging leaders to do great things for him and his kingdom! We believe that God wants to shape these students into the people that he has created them to be, ready to serve in the kingdom.
The theme for this summer’s Leadership Summit is, “Leadership Redefined,” which is based on Ephesians 4:1–6:
…I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
At Leadership Summit this summer, students will experience leadership development, teaching, worship, practical experiences, and powerful moments that encourage them to Be Humble, Be Gentle, Be Love, Be One, and Be Worthy…Leadership Redefined.
Students and leaders will be encouraged to understand that leadership flows from who we are, not what we do. We hope that these students will be part of a generation that redefines leadership.
Leadership Summit 2013 takes place this summer, July 9–13, at MACU, in Oklahoma City. This is an incredible opportunity for emerging leaders in your youth ministry. Don’t miss it.
