Credentials Manual Certification Training

The Credentials Manual that was presented to the 2017 General Assembly guides us in assisting each assembly with the training and equipping of their credentials committees. During this time, there will be an overview of the new manual with specific attention given to implementation of the new guidelines and training procedures. This training is open to credentials chairpersons, credentials committee members, and all Assembly leaders. There is no cost for the training session, however, registration is required. Over the course of six hours, pastors, spouses, and board members will be taught to better understand, plan for, and manage pastoral compensation. The goal of this seminar is to free pastors from unnecessary financial strain, thereby empowering them to accomplish what God has called them to do. Discover best practices in pastoral compensation that will sustain the long arc of ministry within the Church of God and beyond. The Hispanic Council (Concilio Hispano), International Youth Convention (IYC), and the National Inspirational Youth Convention (NIYC) are excited to present the ONE event, in conjunction with the 2018 Church of God Regional Convention in Columbus, Ohio! In April 2017, over 200 students and their leaders gathered in Indianapolis for the first ONE event to combine the efforts of these three groups to worship and serve together.
