EXCITEMENT BUILDS AS IYC2020 COMES INTO VIEW
Excitement is building for the 52nd International Youth Convention of the Church of God, which will be held in Orlando, Florida, July 3–6, 2020. All artists and speakers have been confirmed and plans are well underway for special events, such as the Trafficklight 5K4Freedom and a variety of Impact service projects. A much-anticipated highlight will be an appearance by Australian-born band for KING & COUNTRY.
Like Church of God Convention 2019, IYC2020 will be held at the Orlando World Center Marriott, which contains a convention center and hotel in a climate-controlled atmosphere—all under one roof. Hotel rates are $128–$135 per room, per night, and are far below the hotel’s regular rates. The current convention registration price is $140 per person. A new post-IYC mission experience is being planned for students with a passion for missions. A.One.8 participants will leave directly from IYC in Orlando to go to Lake Wales, Florida, for training, followed by an international experience in Costa Rica. This is a competitive program, with chosen applicants participating in an interview process. The deadline for application is January 25, 2020.
