Church of God Responds to Hurricane Sandy Disaster

Like most of you, we here at Church of God Ministries have been monitoring reports of the devastation caused by Hurricane Sandy. Like you, we have prayed for the safety of those in the path of the storm. And, like you, we are saddened at the news of damage, loss, and, most importantly, injury and death. More than 160 dead, hundreds injured, and thousands left without power, food, and shelter.

Members of the Disaster Relief Committee at Church of God Ministries have already been in contact with regional pastors and assembly chairs in New York, New Jersey, Maryland, West Virginia, and Virginia. In the days and weeks to come, we will need to assist them in a compassionate response to friends and neighbors in their church communities as they repair and rebuild.
