Anderson University was ranked one of the best Christian universities according to Christian Universities Online. AU was ranked 22 out of 50 institutions recommended in the “50 Best Christian Universities in the U.S.” category posted on July 29.

“Anderson University is honored to be listed among the 50 Best Christian Colleges,” said Provost Dr. Marie Morris. “It is fascinating to read about what distinguishes one Christian college from another. At AU we create a relational community where we pursue rigorous academic study in the context of Christian discovery recognizing that educating head, heart, and hands is essential in the growth and development of learners and preparation for employment. This affirmation will simply fuel our ongoing passion to do our very best to achieve our mission to educate for a life of faith and service in the church and society.”

The site considered schools that were accredited by the Transnational Association of Christ Colleges and Schools (TRACS) and schools that were affiliated with the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU). Christian Universities Online used data from the National Center of Education Statistics (NCES) and ranked schools based off their admissions process, financial aid, class size, and student satisfaction.

Christian Universities Online provides reviews and rankings about Christian colleges and universities as well as, information about Christian scholarships and financial aid. The independent site is a resource for students and parents seeking Christian higher education.
