CHOG Convention 2015: Monday Streaming Added; Heritage Sing Update
By Carl Stagner
If you are unable to attend Church of God Convention this year, or if you have friends and family who simply cannot make it to Oklahoma City, this news is for you: We’re happy to announce that Monday evening’s kickoff session of CHOG Convention 2015 will also be streamed live over the Internet. Featuring Timothy Clarke and Selah, this session is bound to inspire viewers online from California to New England. Many may also want to tune into Monday’s session to watch the annual memorial service. In addition to a live feed of all General Assembly sessions, the Wednesday evening worship session, featuring Francis Chan, Sandi Patty, Larnelle Harris, and the Crossings Venue Band, will also be streamed live.
Our Oklahoma friends may be especially interested in this update: the Heritage Sing-Along will be open to the public—you do not need to register for Church of God Convention to attend and participate! Joe Gregory and Jean Shackleton will join several friends for an hour devoted to singing the traditional hymns and spiritual songs—no preaching, limited talking, and an abundance of joy! The Heritage Sing-Along is scheduled for 9:30 until 10:30 AM on Wednesday, June 24, in the Crossings Chapel.
Attention, spouses of ministers! We want to let you know that a few spaces remain open for the Clergy Spouse Breakfast, hosted by Maureen Lyon and Kim Grubbs. The event is from 8:30 until 10:30 AM on Tuesday, June 23. Let us know you’re coming: visit https://cgm.formstack.com/forms/clergybrunch today!
Each evening worship session begins at 7:00 PM CDT. All General Assembly sessions begin at 8:30 AM CDT. A daily schedule is available at www.chogconvention.org.
