Arise! Women in Ministry

ARISE exists to encourage women to discover their call in ministry, to develop their gifts, and to grow and thrive in their call.

We are offering three conferences to all women in the Church of God. While these conferences are designed for three specific areas of ministry, we believe they will offer something valuable to women across many different areas of ministry.  Lunch will be provided.

  1. For the Doers with Cheryl Sanders: A track designed for women serving in pastoral ministry within the church.
  2. For the Dauntless with Marsha Reeder: A track designed for women interested in exploring the ministry of church planting.
  3. For the Dreamers with Randee Doe: A track designed for women serving or interested in serving in parachurch (outside the walls of the church) ministries.

Registration is through the Regional Convention registration process, though you do not have to attend Regional Convention to attend the ARISE conferences. A special bundle price is available for those attending both ARISE and Regional Convention.

Pastor Compensation Matters

Partnering with pastors and congregational leaders to understand and implement best practices for pastor compensation and financial health

Over the past several decades, the findings from research data from pastors around the country indicate that financial stress is the number one deterrent to pastors’ health and well-being. The topic of pastor compensation in the Church of God is important. Why?

  • The need to steward well church resources
  • One of the largest categories in the church budget
  • Church budget limitations
  • Need to lever a minister’s compensation
  • Almost 50% of Church of God pastors say that financial stress can make them feel like giving up.

Let’s talk about pastoring and compensation matters.

Sponsored by Church of God Ministries, the CARE Project, and Servant Solutions.
