Be Bold. Reclaim.

Church of God Convention • June 20–23, 2017—Wichita, Kansas

Two back-to-back conventions in Oklahoma City (2014 & 2015) and three regional conventions in 2016 are now in the books, and we have been overwhelmed by the positive response. Pastors and lay leaders who have experienced one or all of these conventions are sharing with us that they sense the bold turnaround, that God is moving within the Church of God, and that they are excited to reengage with the movement. The church has work to do in reclaiming the world for Christ in bold, Spirit-led ways.

And so, the 2017 Convention continues with the theme Be Bold. Reclaim. There’s so much more to do—we’re not done yet! There will be familiar events with eight plenary sessions and plenty of relationship-building time. There will also be new experiences, including a pre-convention pastor’s gathering and some new faces on the platform. We want you to experience both!

The beautiful Central Community Church in Wichita, Kansas, will host the eight main sessions of the convention, featuring speakers Jim Lyon, Paul Sheppard, and others who make their home in the Church of God, not to mention others who are able to speak from the outside into our family during this important gathering.

The pre-convention pastors’ gathering will be offered on Tuesday (June 20). Sessions will include networking, church multiplication, congregational health, pastoral health, chaplain training, and more. All of these sessions will be held at the convention headquarters hotel—Double Tree by Hilton—convenient to the church and to those staying at the hotel for the convention. You’ll get a good night’s rest, eat a delicious breakfast, and walk right down the hall to the gathering. You might even wear your slippers!

Convention planners are building the daily schedule to accommodate engaging worship, inspiring speakers, and networking breaks. You will have time to be refreshed, challenged, and build relationships with old and new friends.

Early-bird mail-in registration will be available November 14, with online registration opening on November 28. Registration rates will remain the same as the 2015 convention: Early-bird rate  (through March 31, 2017)

Regular rate  (April 1–June 5, 2017)

At-the-door rate (June 6 or after)
