RWANDA JJAJJA HOUSES – Project #42.30491
Women, and especially grandmothers, are becoming the caretakers for children. Sometimes this is precipitated by the death of parents due to HIV/AIDS and in other cases it is for other reasons. Jjajja means “grandparent” and these small two-room houses help grandparents in Uganda and Rwanda provide for their families while giving them needed protection and security in a social system that does not protect them. ($4200-6000 per house, depending on specifics.)

The Animal Sustainability Project gives women an opportunity to create a sustainable living through small animal care. (The cost per animal is Cow: $325, Goat: $70, Chicken: $15, Pig: $30, Turkey: $35, Duck: $30.)

HOUSE OF SUCCESS – Project #42.30396

The House of Success is a one room school for the children of asylum-seeking Christians from Pakistan. The House of Success is using ACE curriculum that enables the student to progress as quickly as they are able. Funds are needed to buy curriculum, school supplies and to pay for a supervisor’s salary, as well as rent for the school room. (Annual Goal: $20,000)

HAITI ST. ARD HOSPITAL – Project #42.30301

The St. Ard hospital is expanding its services to become a 24-hour facility by completing a second floor addition and purchases needed medical equipment, including an ambulance. The hospital ministry at St. Ard uses general medicine and medical procedures to provide comfort and opportunities for evangelism and spiritual growth. Services include surgery, optometry, dentistry, pediatrics, prosthetics, obstetrics, and internal medicine.  (Annual Goal: $29,000)

NICARAGUA FEEDING PROGRAM – Project #42.40125

The church in Nicaragua is caring for the children in their community by providing a free meal once a week to those in need. The church has asked for assistance from Global Strategy to help them increase the meals they provide per week so more kids receive consistent nutritional meals.  (Annual Goal: $7,060)

BULGARIA YOUTH CAMP – Project #42.40088

The Bulgaria Youth Camp has been an ongoing project since 2011. The main goals are racial reconciliation between the Turkish speaking and the Bulgarian speaking parts of the church, encouraging and teaching young people Christian ethics and viewpoints, and raising young leaders in church. (Annual Goal: $4,883)
